The Gewürztraminer It is an autochthonous grape variety from South Tyrol. Known since the Middle Ages, it is experiencing a moment of great splendour. Its name literally means “spicy Traminer” because of the place of origin and its main organoleptic peculiarity. This rosy grape variety creates an aromatic wine par excellence, with a rich bouquet that ranges from notes of fruit and flowers to spices.

Annata Vinification
The grapes, which have reached perfect ripeness, are picked by hand in the cool hours of the morning and taken to the cellar. Here the berries are separated from the stalks and crushed. The must obtained, after a first decanting, is placed in the fermentation tanks at a controlled temperature.

Aging technique
The wine remains on the fine lees in stainless steel barrels for at least 6 months.

Store the bottle in a horizontal position in a cool place, with high humidity and constant temperature. Make sure it is well protected from light.

It goes perfectly with appetizers and fish-based dishes, especially crustaceans. Ideal as an aperitif accompanied by tasty cheeses and refined finger food.
